Zion Lutheran School Auction

Last Saturday night was our Zion school's auction and fundraiser. Much of the money raised at this auction goes towards tuition assistance, PE/play ground equipment and all those additional assorted classroom costs. This was an event that we, PTF, ladies had been working on and planning for months! Casey and I were able to get quite a few items donated from various sponsors and I was "Vanna White" for the live auction (it was lots of fun to be on stage where all the excitement was happening!)  This year's theme was a "masquerade ball".  It began at 5pm with the silent auction and appetizers. Then, dinner at 6 and live auction at 7. With being up on stage I didn't get a big opportunity to bid on many items (probably actually a good thing! lol) however, we did leave with a nice, brand new wooden picnic table for our back yard :)
I totally enjoyed working with these ladies! They're fun and, so dedicated to the kids and school.
My good friend, Katie, made all the masquerade themed table center pieces... Principal Karolyn Rippy is in the background.

The delicious dessert table.. which were auctioned off in the very beginning so that each table had dessert after their dinner. Clever idea :)
