Memorial Day Part 3 "Riding"

There's always quite a bit of 4-wheeling that gets done when we're up at Clear Creek.  There are numerous mountainous trails for the adults to ride on and, a good path at the campsite for the littler kids to practice on.  This year we weren't able to bring our ATV's or go-cart bc we were pulling the camper and didn't have the trailer hitch on the camper yet.  So, our family was very generous in letting us borrow some of theirs!  Cousin Willie shared his little 4-wheeler with our boys and, they had a blast going around and around on the path.  Tys got quite got towards the end... Trenton did pretty good too but still requires Casey's full attention while he rides/drives :)

 My cousin Izaac and his friend were there with their big dirt bikes.  They spent a whole afternoon digging the perfect jump... the littler boys were in total awe and amazement to see the older boys perform those jumps!

Clear Creek Part 2 "Hiking"

Mom and I took the kids on a little uphill hike in the mountains across the road from our campsite.  They all did great hiking up and found lots of pretty flowers, rocks and sticks along the way to bring back with them!

Memorial Day Weekend ~ Clear Creek, Idaho

For Memorial Day weekend we made the first big "maiden voyage" in our new camper!  Casey spent many evenings for weeks prior to our trip getting everything ready... installing the trailer hitch on his pickup and testing everything out on the camper.  The kids and I spent days loading and prepping.  Casey and I attended a friends wedding on Friday night so, we didn't head up to the campsite until early that Saturday morning.  Once there we joined much of my family and friends who usually all gather at Clear Creek every Memorial Day.  Total, there were about 7 campers and a few tents... along with 9 kids and lots of ATV's!  We totally loved having our own camper and were happy with how smooth the trip went.  Also, the weather was perfect!

 We were so happy that Janelie could join us for the weekend!  She and Katie had a great time together!

 It was nice having Jake and Krystal up for the day on Sunday... and we're even more happier that they're expecting a baby the first part of December!! YAY!!

Kristiana Soccer '14

Kristiana was such a trooper this season and spent much of her Saturdays cheering on her siblings as they played.  She loved shouting "Go Katie" Or "run" to her brothers!  She also enjoyed kicking the soccer ball around on the sidelines with her siblings, eating LOTS of snacks and drinking all our water.. haha! :)  Only two more seasons and she'll be officially playing too!

Trenton Soccer '14

I loved coaching Trenton this year!  Towards the end of the season he had greatly improved on his skills... learning how to stop the ball, kick it in the goal, do a throw-in, not kick out of bounds and pass to team members.  He also just mainly had fun :)

Tys Soccer '14

Tys is always such a joy to watch play soccer! He ALWAYS has a smile on his face while running up and down the field!  He also greatly improved his skills this year and had lots of fun playing.  His highlight was making some goals and seeing what snacks his teammate brought :)  He met quite a few nice new friends!

Katie Soccer '14

I'm so proud of Katie and the hard work she displayed this season! She worked very hard running up and down the field.. always giving her best.  Her soccer skills greatly improved and she has a strong kick!  Her main position was defender because she can kick the ball so far down the field and she's not afraid to get in the "action" to defend the ball.
