Portland

Two weekends ago my friend, Katie, and I took a little road trip to Portland; our main goal was to go shopping at IKEA!  We took her daughter, Janelie, and my Katie Rose with us and made it a fun girls trip! I had never fully experienced IKEA before and LOVED it :)  We were there for 7 hours (yes, 7 hours)  Its a good thing there was a cafeteria so we could eat lunch and dinner there! It was pouring rain the whole time we were there and, the wipers on Katie's truck weren't working... big problem when its pouring rain!  So we ended up staying one more night and getting the wipers fixed at a dealership. It was a fun weekend filled with lots of laughter, Starbucks and spending time with the girlies.

BSU vs CO St.

About a month ago Casey entered a drawing at our bank for two tickets to the BSU vs. CO St. game and, he WON!!  I never win anything but, my husband seems to win everything! So, last Saturday we left the kids with my parents for the afternoon and headed downtown for the game.  I LOVE going to home games... the city bleeds orange and blue and everyone is full of the Bronco spirit. This was Casey's first time for a home game on the blue turf :)  Before the game, and at halftime, we went to the Dairymen tailgate and visited with old/new friends.  The weather was pretty rainy and stormy but, not cold. So, we bundled up in our Bronco attire and just enjoyed our day! AND, BSU won!

About 3 weeks ago our cat, Blackie, had 4 adorable kitties!  There are three males and one female... 2 black, 1 white and 1 calico... what a variety!  Marie fell in love with the white kitty and has decided he would be a great Christmas present for herself!! Ri makes frequent visits to check on her "baby". 

 A little brotherly/sisterly love... With Tys and Katie in school during the day, Trenton and Kristiana have become best buds (except when Kristiana takes Trenton's toy and runs.. ha ha)

Reformation Day

For Reformation Day my friend's church, Lakeview Bible Church, was having a big harvest party in their gymnasium.  We live in a nice neighborhood to go trick or treating but it was cold outside so, I took the kiddos to the church for an evening of fun with our friends!  There were all sorts of games, music, face painting, food/drinks and, of course, candy :)

Thankful

Today I am thankful for my fun, crazy kids and, those special moments they get to spend with their daddy! 

Harvest party

Two weeks ago we went to our friends, the Fisks, harvest party... they made it a very fun evening with activities such as: hayrides, decorating pumpkins, candy flying through the air, a bonfire & singing, yummy food and lots of laughter with friends! 

 Ready for the hayride... Dave and Mindy live in Wilder (the country) so we were able to enjoy the countryside scenery during our hayride. And, God blessed us with an amazing sunset that night!
