The Clarks

The last weekend of July, our dear friends from Battle Mountain came to visit.. Jason & Lisa, Taylor & Dalton.  We got in a lot of Idaho site seeing during their short weekend here!  We went to the zoo and downtown Boise.  Then, on a tour of the DeWinkle dairy and we checked out the area south of us (Melba) It was a wonderful time spent with friends and, the kids had a blast!

Summer Time Swimming

The best part about summer is swimming!  Whether it be in the nearby lake with cousins or, in the neighbors pool next door!  We also enjoyed our one-time-a-summer day at the big Roaring Springs water park.  The kids worked hard in their school reading program to earn their free ticket to Roaring Springs and, it did not disappoint!

Summer Days

In July, Katie and Janelie enjoyed a pottery class at our local Nampa Puffy Mondaes.  They got to use the pottery wheel and paint two pieces.

 My new garden boxes are amazing!!  We grew a fabulous garden that required less weeding attention due to the boxes. Thanks to my amazing, talented hubby (and his two workers) for these boxes!

 In July, Katie Rose got to take her first plane flight by herself and visit Oma and Grandpa for a week in Ca.  She had a wonderful and memorable time!

Oregon Coast

For the Fourth of July, we loaded up the kids, Missy and our camp trailer and headed to the Oregon Coast for the long weekend.  We stayed in a wonderful campground just out of Florence (and right near the ocean) It was such a fabulous time with our family!  The kids saw the ocean for the first time... and even though it wasn't their absolute favorite, they still had a blast (I suppose we are all just "mountain people" at heart)  We spent time at the beach, ate yummy local ice cream, hiked in the thickly wooded trails and drove up the coastal highway to a lighthouse.

 Trenton had a loose tooth that he didn't want to pull but, it kept bothering him.  Casey told him that if he pulled that tooth before our next stop Trenton could have his very own soda.  That tooth came right out and Trenton enjoyed his soda!

 Experiencing the ocean for the first time!  They were a bit surprised by its vastness and the cold water temperatures... but, it was still a wonderful time!

Kristiana turns 4!!

Our baby turned 4 and she was SO excited for her special day!

 She started off her special day with a free Dutch  Bros smoothie and a shopping trip to WalMart to spend her birthday $.

 In the afternoon she had a wonderful, fun My Little Pony birthday with all of her friends (there were approx 20 kids!) It was a super fun time with outdoors water games, yummy Pony treats and time with friends
