After our tour of Mount Vernon, we headed for a tour of Arlington Cemetery. Going there, you get a greater love for our country and thankfulness for all who have died to protect and serve it. We were able to witness the changing of the guard and wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier... it was all quite the experience for Katie!
