Christmas Tree
The kids and I decorated our Christmas tree yesterday. Casey and I decided to get a real, live tree this year and, found this 7 footer at a tree lot in Nampa. After 4 Christmasas of having little, fake, Charlie Brown trees, I was ready for a real big one!! However, I've also realized that with a bigger tree you also need more ornaments and lights! LOL I have to say that as the kids get older each year, Christmas gets funner! They had a great time putting up the ornaments and spent the rest of the day "hovering" around the tree. Our biggest challenge is keeping Trent away from the ornaments and teaching Tys that unplugging and plugging-in the lights is a big NO NO!!

Wow, what a beautiful tree! It's huge! How did you get it all the way over there? We got a little one, and on the way home (nampa to melba) it fell off the roof of our car!
that's funny your tree fell off the car! We put this big one in the back of Casey's truck and he tied it down... it wasn't going anywhere! And, we didn't even break any branches off.. miracle. I saw your tree... it's very pretty! And, it looks like Tys loves it!
We only got a "big tree" a couple years ago too, so we don't have that many ornaments either.
I love that first picture with Trent in the background, and the older kids smiling in front!
